Abstract
Uniform self-organized grating is fabricated by scanning of a single femtosecond laser on ZF6 glass. The scanning electron microscope and atom force microscope results show that the period and tooth length of the uniform coarse grating are ∼750 nm and ∼20 µm, respectively. The period of the grating is independent of pulse number, neighboring dots intervals, and laser powers, whereas the uniformity of the grating is largely determined by the above three factors.
