Zusammenfassung
Akupunktur ist eine Form der chinesischen Reflextherapie bei funktionellen, reversiblen Erkrankungen oder Störungen, beispielsweise bei Schmerzen, Durchblutungsproblemen, Muskeltonusstörungen, vegetativer Dysfunktion und psychosomatischer Dysregulation. Idealerweise wird die Akupunktur im Rahmen einer Kombinationstherapie eingesetzt. Ziel ist die Optimierung der Therapie, der Prävention, der Eigenaktivität und der Selbstkompetenz.
Im Westen können wir mit Konzepten der traditionellen chinesischen Medizin (TCM), insbesondere in Bezug auf das alternde Bewegungssystem, den subjektiven Gesundheitszustand der Bevölkerung optimieren. Die praxisnahen und geeigneten Indikationen nach Differenzialdiagnosen der TCM und Diagnosen der modernen Medizin werden in diesem Beitrag besprochen.
Abstract
Acupuncture is the Chinese form of reflexotherapy used to treat functional and reversible diseases or dysfunctions of the body, such as pain, blood circulation or tonicity problems, vegetative dysfunction or psychosomatic dysregulation. Ideally it is combined with other therapy options. The focus should be on finding the best form of therapy for each individual patient as well as the prevention of diseases and the increase of spontaneous activity and personal skills.
In western countries we can optimize the state of health of the population with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) concepts, especially in terms of problems with the musculoskeletal system of elderly people. The clinical and good indications for acupuncture, in context with differential diagnoses of TCM and diagnoses of conventional western medicine, will be discussed in this article.
