Zusammenfassung

Die morphologische und funktionelle Auswertung konventioneller Röntgenbilder gehört zu den Grundlagen manualmedizinischer ärztlicher Diagnostik der Halswirbelsäule. Gutmann entwickelte hierfür Standarduntersuchungen in zwei Ebenen, bei denen der individuelle Haltungsstereotyp unter exakt definierten biomechanischen Bedingungen abgebildet wird. Eine intensive Schulung des ärztlichen und mittleren medizinischen Personals ist die Voraussetzung, um derartige Untersuchungen qualitätsgerecht durchführen und in der täglichen Praxis fest etablieren zu können. Der Informationsgewinn bei der Zusammenschau beider Bilder rechtfertigt den geringfügigen Mehraufwand bei der technischen Durchführung.

Abstract

The foundation of manual diagnostics regarding the cervical region is the morphological and functional analysis of conventional X-rays. Gutmann developed a standard examination, which can demonstrate the individual cervical posture. The biomechanical conditions for examinations are strictly defined. The prerequisite for firmly establishing a high-quality examination in daily practice is a training programme for doctors and the medical staff. Using this X-ray examination, the large yield of information justifies the minimally higher instrumentational expenditure.
