Abstract
The following article about dysfunctions of the mandibular joint addresses in detail the long-term consequences of craniomandibular dysfunctions (CMD). It refers to bibliographical data concerning the relation between the craniomandibular and the craniovertebral systems and other structures as well as the phenomenon of pain. It also provides insight into osteopathic literature on temporomandibular dysfunctions.
