Correction to: Improved insect resistance against Spodoptera litura in transgenic sweetpotato by overexpressing Cry1Aa toxin

In Material and Methods, we erroneously named the sweetpotato variety which was used as donor plant “Taizhong-6” (China national number 2013003). The variety was “Ayamurasaki”.

The correct sentence is: “Sweetpotato variety “Ayamurasaki” was used as a donor parent to generate transgenic sweetpotatoes.” The authors apologize for the error.
