Intramurales Hämangiom der Vena portae

Zusammenfassung

Kapilläre Hämangiome sind häufige und nahezu ubiquitär anzutreffende Neubildungen, die jedoch äußerst selten in der Wand von Blutgefäßen vorkommen. Dies ist Anlaß für die kasuistische Darstellung eines kleinen kapillären Hämangioms vom sinusoidalen Typ, das zufällig bei der Autopsie einer 79jährigen Frau in der Wand der V. portae gefunden wurde. Auf Grund dieser Lokalisation und struktureller Merkmale wird vermutet, daß die benigne Neubildung auf dem Boden einer örtlichen Gewebsfehlbildung (abortive Leberanlage?) entstanden sein könnte.

Summary

Capillary hemangiomas occur rather ubiquitously, but extremely rare within the wall of blood vessels. For this reason the authors report on a small capillary hemangioma of sinusoidal type. It has been observed fortuitously within the wall of the portal vein at autopsy of a 79-year-old woman. Based on site and structural characteristics the benign neoplasia is supposed to have developed from a local malformation, probably an abortive liver anlage.
