Primäre multiple maligne Schwannome im Herzen – eine Rarität

Zusammenfassung

Berichtet wird über eine 51jährige Frau, die über zunehmende nächtliche Dyspnoe klagte. Echokardiografisch fanden sich 2 intrakardiale Raumforderungen. Histologisch wurde ein malignes Schwannom diagnostiziert. Gesichert wurde die Diagnose durch den Nachweis einer positiven Expression von S-100-Protein innerhalb der Tumorzellen.

Summary

The case is presented of a 51-year-old woman with increased of nightly dyspnea. An echocardiographic examination shows two intracardiac tumors. Histological features demonstrate an malignant schwannoma. The diagnosis was verified by immunohistological proof of S-100 protein in tumor cells.
