Abstract
There are some aspects of the multiplicity distribution of secondary charged particles at high energies that can be interpreted within the framework of the two-mechanism model using the general theory of stationary branching process. This approach describes multiparticle production data in pp(p̄p) collisions up to 1.8 TeV and yields new values for some of the parameters at higher energies.
