Aktuelle Entwicklung in der Transaktionsanalyse

Zusammenfassung

Die Transaktionsanalyse (Berne 1958) sollte vom ursprünglichen Konzept her dazu dienen, personale Strukturen und psychodynamische Prozesse auch dem Laien verstehbar und nutzbar zu machen. Obwohl dieser Anspruch bei manchen Autoren zu Oberflächlichkeit und „happy-go-lucky” Sicht verwässerte, zeigt die vor allem unter europäischen Transaktionsanalytikern übliche Rückbesinnung auf die ursprünglichen Inhalte den Umfang klinischer Relevanz der Konzepte für Verständnis und Behandlung der verschiedensten Störungen. Dies anhand einer sog. frühen Störung, dem Borderlinesyndrom, aufzuzeigen, ist Anliegen des vorliegenden Beitrags. Das Strukturmodell der Ich-Zustände dient dabei als Beschreibungsansatz für die Borderlinestruktur, Bezugsrahmen und Skript als Muster für die Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung der Pathologie, Transaktionen, Spiele, Symbiosen und Passivität als Merkmale stabiler Instabilität der Beziehungen und Abwertungen und Grandiositäten als Beispiele für Abwehrmuster. Es folgen praxisorientierte Überlegungen und Hinweise zum therapeutischen Vertrag als Grundlage des Arbeitsbündnisses, zu Methoden der Entängstigung im Therapieprozeß, zu Begegnung und Beziehung als Substrat für korrigierende Erfahrungen, heilendes Klima und Entdramatisierung des realen Geschehens. Die Ausführungen enden mit transaktionsanalytischen Überlegungen zu Übertragung, Gegenübertragung und dem Umgang mit Regressionsprozessen.

Summary

Transactional analysis (Berne 1958) in its original concepts was intended to help even lay people to understand personal structures and psychodynamic processes. This intention lead some of the following authors to superficiality and a „happy-go-lucky” perspective. Others, most of all European transactional analysts went back to the roots of the original contents and aims and showed that they offer great clinical relevance for the understanding and treatment of a variety of disturbances. This article will illustrate these aspects, using the borderline syndrome as an example. The structural model of egostates serves to describe the borderline structure, concepts of the frame of reference and the script as patterns for the development and maintenance of the pathology, the concepts of transactions, games, symbioses and passivity as indicators for the stable instability of the relationships, and devaluations and grandiosities as examples of defence patterns. Practical ideas about the therapeutic contract as a basis of various working agreements, about methods of decreasing anxiety in therapeutic processes, and about contact and attachment as a substrate for corrective experiences, a healing atmosphere and dedramatisation of the process follow. The article ends with transactional analytic considerations of transference, counter-transference and how to deal with regression processes.
