The goal of this book is to contribute to the preparation of the USMLER in the field of clinical anatomy. Over 600 multiple choice questions are proposed, and classified as easy (green), moderate (yellow), and difficult (red). Each questions are followed by the correct answers commented by detailed anatomical explanations. Numerous questions are referred to a view of medical imaging, of high quality, and the answers and supported by anatomical figures of Thieme Atlases of Anatomy.

A short section (two pages “How to use this series”) explains the best way for the reader to achieve an appropriate using the different cases and questions, to develop the reflecting procedure but not only searching for the good item in the proposed lists.

The ten chapters are devoted to the specific systems: nervous, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, digestive, female reproductive, male reproductive, endocrine, and lymphatic. These chapters begin with an introduction that provides the list of the anatomical learning objectives. Then, the questions are categorized by anatomical region.

The authors are experienced Professors and Assistant-Professor of Anatomy in Universities and Schools of Medicine in USA (Portland, Reno, Rochester). They requested for the help of numerous reviewers, anatomists, and physicians, but also students and residents, for validating the accuracy of the clinical scenarios and the levels of difficulty of the questions.

The anatomical answers to the clinical questions represent the constant concern of this book.

This book will be a challenging contribution for students during their training and preparation for the examinations, and it will reinforce the abilities in clinical examinations through a strong knowledge of anatomy.
