Pouchitis: Risk Factors, Etiology, and Treatment

Abstract. A Medline literature review of pouchitis has been conducted, and relevant information from this search and the authors’ own experience has been used to produce an overview on pouchitis at the current time. Particular attention is given to etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical management.
