Dear Authors,
We would like to thank you for the positive remarks regarding our manuscript which reflects our considerations about tuberous breast.
Our main observation is a categorization of stenotic breast under a geometrical point of view: vertical and vertical–horizontal stenosis.
Regarding the comments made by the authors of the letter, we agree that a meticulous consideration of the inframammary fold is mandatory.
In fact, our vertical stenosis is exactly related to this point, and lowering the inferior sulcus is always performed in our group of patients.
We agree with the authors that a full preoperative evaluation of the mammary gland is essential to obtain the best surgical result for correction of tuberous breast deformity, analyzing both inframammary fold position and breast base.
