Nonadiabatic geometric phase in a textured mesoscopic ring subject to a crown-like magnetic field

Abstract

With the aid of the exact solution for a quantum spin-1/2 in a rotating magnetic field and by imposing a commensurability condition, we propose a novel experiment to test a kind of Aharonov-Anandan (AA) geometric phase in a textured mesoscopic ring subject to a crown-like magnetic field.
