Omental free flap for the treatment of serious scarring results in the head

Abstract 

Four cases of tumors and one case of unstable and chronically ulcerated scar of the scalp, treated with the omental free flap, are presented in this paper. In two cases the skull was reconstructed with an autologous bone graft. The final aesthetic result was good, bearing in mind the initial pathology.
