Abstract

Background

The quest for facial rejuvenation often involves addressing multiple features, yet traditional surgical approaches typically focus on isolated areas. This study explores the efficacy and outcomes of combining open structured precision rhinoplasty with the Bullhorn lip lift, a method that potentially offers a more harmonious and balanced approach to facial aesthetics.

Methods

This prospective cohort study involved female patients undergoing concurrent open structured precision rhinoplasty and Bullhorn lip lift. Patients were carefully selected based on specific criteria to ensure suitability for both procedures. Surgical techniques were standardized, focusing on key aesthetic areas and patient-specific concerns. Postoperative outcomes were assessed using the NOSE scale and the Rhinoplasty Outcome Evaluation (ROE) questionnaire, alongside a systematic documentation of complications.

Results

The prospective cohort study demonstrated promising results in achieving youthful facial harmony, with an average procedure time of 232 min. Postoperative assessments indicated significant improvement in nasal breathing and high patient satisfaction in aesthetic outcomes. Complications were minimal and predominantly involved expected early postoperative symptoms. The integration of rhinoplasty and lip lift techniques revealed a delicate balance between nasal and lip enhancements, contributing to an overall natural facial rejuvenation.

Conclusions

The combined approach of simultaneous precision rhinoplasty with Bullhorn lip lift presents a viable and effective strategy for comprehensive facial rejuvenation. This preliminary study suggests enhanced outcomes in facial harmony and patient satisfaction, with minimal complications. Further research with larger cohorts and extended follow-up is required to validate these findings and refine the technique.
