Numerical calculation of capillary-gravity waves

Summary.

Capillary-gravity waves are described by a nonlinear functional in a Banach space of analytic functions. This equation is solved by a Newton method. It is shown that the method converges quadratically for small amplitude waves. The proof shows at the same time the existence of these waves.
