Capacitance of an annular ring between two conducting plates

In this article we propose a general method for estimating the capacitance of a ring placed between two dielectric layers, externally grounded. This geometry is relevant in microstrip design and testing. The problem, formulated as three integral equations defined in complementary regions, is solved by adopting a generalised Neumann series, whose general term is the product of two Bessel functions. Plots of the capacitance are given in a wide range of geometric and electric parameters.

In diesem Artikel bieten wir eine allgemein anwendbare Methode für die Bewertung der Kapazität eines Ringes zwischen zwei dielektrischen Schichten an, welche zwischen zwei Massescheiben angebracht sind. Diese Voraussetzungen sind von Interesse bei der Planung und bei der Messung von Mikrostreifen-Bauteilen. Das Problem wird in drei Integralgleichungen formuliert, die auf komplementäre Bereiche angewendet werden. Die Lösung erfolgt durch die generalisierte Neumannsche Reihe, deren Ausdruck das Produkt zweier Bessel-Gleichungen bildet. Kapazitätsdiagramme werden für einen breites Spektrum von geometrischen und elektrischen Parametern geliefert.
