The original version of this article, published 23 February 2011, unfortunately contained a mistake. The following correction has therefore been made in the original:
In section “Factor-of-risk,” a sentence was worded incorrectly. The correct wording is: “For women, trochanteric soft tissue thickness (millimeters) is equal to 3.4795 × [BMI (kilograms per square meter)] − 38.015. For men, trochanteric soft tissue thickness (millimeters) is equal to 2.3415 × [BMI (kilograms per square meter)] − 33.444.”
