Abstract

This paper presents a numerical investigation of the flow field around a Busemann biplane. Several parameters were investigated numerically in order to find their effect on the drag coefficient of the Busemann biplane at various flow conditions. It was found that under most flow conditions the Busemann biplane has a lower drag coefficient than that of a similar single wing.
