Abstract

This paper aims at assessing the relationships among manufacturing innovation, competitiveness, and business performance in the Korean manufacturing industries on an empirical basis. The presented assessments are based on parts of the data and information collected through the execution of the questionnaire on 626 companies from four sectors of the manufacturing industries in Korea. We also established a research model and hypotheses to analyze the correlation among manufacturing innovation, competitiveness and business performance, and carried out reliability and feasibility analyses to verify the research model and analyzed the research hypotheses through AMOS (analysis of moment structure). These issues are analyzed through survey results and some conclusions are drawn. The research model presented in this paper was proven valid and all the 20 hypotheses were proven insignificant.
