fields of an ideal gas mixtures of \(\nu\) constituents. It is shown that for binary mixtures with disparate masses - like the Helium-Xenon mixture - the light scattering spectrum changes from the hydrodynamic regime to the free molecular regime by increasing the molar fraction of the light constituent.
