Das Operationsteam besteht u.a. aus einem erfahrenen Wirbelsäulenchirurgen, einem in der laparoskopischen Chirurgie erfahrenen Abdominalchirurgen und einem geübten Kameramann. Tierexperimentell hat sich der Positionswechsel – von kranial Organpräparation und von suprasymphysär Wirbelsäuleninstrumentation – bewährt.
