A synopsis of medication for degenerative osteoarthritis

Zusammenfassung

Vor invasiven Maßnahmen sollten die medikamentösen Therapiemöglichkeiten ausgeschöpft werden. Der gezielte Einsatz dient dazu, die aktivierte Arthose in die asymptomatische Phase zu überführen. Dieser Beitrag fasst die Behandlungsempfehlungen zusammen und gibt einen Überblick über Wirkungsweisen und Probleme.

Abstract

Drug treatment options should be used before starting operative procedures for degenerative osteoarthritis. The directed use of drugs helps to convert activate arthritis to the asymptomatic phase. This article summarizes guidelines and gives an overview of the effects and problems.
