Zusammenfassung
Berichtet wird über einen Fall von vollständigem Fehlen der A. tibialis posterior, der bei einem 6 Monate alten Säugling als Zufallsbefund während einer operativen Klumpfußkorrektur entdeckt wurde.Während über Anomalien der A. tibialis anterior bei Klumpfüßen häufig berichtet wird, ist das vollständige Fehlen der A. tibialis posterior äußerst selten.
Abstract
A case of a completely absent posterior tibial artery discovered during a procedure for congenital clubfoot correction in a 6 month old male infant is reported. Anomalies of the anterior tibial artery associated with the clubfoot-deformity are common,the absence of the posterior tibial artery is, however, very rare.
