Zusammenfassung

Im modernen Zeitalter werden zunehmend Fernreisen durchgeführt. Aufgrund der Zeitverschiebungen sind störende Einflüsse auf den Zyklus der Frau zu erwarten. Die nachfolgende Darstellung erläutert den Zyklus der Frau insoweit, als es für das Thema von Bedeutung ist. Praktische Empfehlungen zur Zyklusbeeinflussung werden gegeben.

Abstract

The number of long-distances travels increases constantly in modern age leading to an altered menstrual cycle caused by time lag. The presented article reviews the female endocrinology with respect to travel medicine and summarizes strategies to optimize menstrual cycle according to individual requirements.
