Zusammenfassung

Die Untersuchung beschreibt systematisch Charakteristika, Beschwerden und Therapie von Patientinnen mit Harninkontinenz. Eine krankenaktenbasierte Sekundärdatenanalyse in einem Kontinenzzentrum ist Datengrundlage der Erkenntnisse. Zusammenfassend zeigen die Ergebnisse, dass betroffene Frauen eine adäquate Therapie zeitlich verzögert erhalten, dass sie unter ihren Beschwerden leiden und dass sie, im Falle professioneller Versorgung, umfassende Diagnostik erhalten und leitliniengerecht behandelt werden.

Abstract

This study describes the systematic characteristics, complaints and therapy in women with urinary incontinence. Data for the study were obtained from patient records in a special care centre. In conclusion, the results show that these women received an adequate and delayed treatment, that they suffered from their complaints and that the diagnoses and treatment were correctly based on medical guidelines.
