Zusammenfassung

Drogengebrauch, Methadonbehandlung oder Zigarettenrauchen haben nachhaltigen Einfluss auf die Gesundheit von Schwangeren und ihren Kindern. Akupunktur kann bei der Behandlung und Betreuung suchtkranker Schwangerer einen günstigen Effekt auf Drogengebrauch und Rauchen haben: bessere Compliance für die Gesamtbehandlung, leichtere Dosisreduktion, leichterer Ausstieg aus dem Suchtrauchen. Das führt zu einem besseren Outcome der Neugeborenen. Das „NADA-Protokoll“ eignet sich gut für Klinik und Praxis. Wir stellen die Behandlung und ihre Ergebnisse dar.

Abstract

Drug abuse, methadone or cigarette-smoking during pregnancy have strong effects on the health of pregnant women and their children. Acupuncture brings benefits in the treatment of drug-addicted, methadone-medicated or smoking pregnant women and leads to a better outcome of their children. It relieves withdrawal and smoking cessation. Acupuncture performed in the style of the “NADA-Protocol” is well accepted and fits for inpatient and outpatient treatments. We describe the method and the effects.
