When we published the article

“Sayal K et al., Identification of children at risk of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Soc Psychiatry Psychiatr Epidemiol (2006) published online first 13 July 2006 (The original publication can be found via http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s00127-006-0100-0.)”

a correction by the author was misinterpreted.

Instead of:

At baseline, teachers identified 3.2% of all pupils as having probable ADHD and 8.2% as having possible ADHD (of whom 78 and 78%, respectively, were male).

the last paragraph on page 4 should have read:

At baseline, teachers identified 3.2% of all pupils as having probable ADHD and 8.2% as having possible ADHD (of whom 78% and 75%, respectively, were male).

The publisher apologizes for this mistake.
