Abstract

Das zentrale Problem nahezu jeder fortgeschrittenen Tumorerkrankung ist der Schmerz. Ca. 40% der Karzinompatienten leiden darunter. In der terminalen Phase der Erkrankungen sind es bereits bis zu 80%. Angesichts dieser Zahlen wird deutlich, welche Bedeutung einer adäquaten Schmerztherapie zukommt.
