Zusammenfassung

Epitheloide Angiomyolipome (EAML) sind eine sehr seltene Unterform der gutartigen mesenchymalen Angiomyolipome. Anders als bei den klassischen Angiomylipomen treten in einem Drittel der EAML Lymphknotenmetastasen, lokale Rezidive und Fernmetastasen auf. Wir berichten über einen 49-jährigen Patienten mit großem Rezidiv eines EAML der linken Niere. Unserer Recherche nach ist dies der erste Fall eines malignen EAML mit Lokalrezidiv in Deutschland.

Abstract

Epitheloide angiomyolipoma (EAML) is a very rare type of benign mesenchymal angiomyolipoma. In contrast to classical angiomylipoma, lymph node metastases, local recurrence and distant metastases occur in one third of patients with EAML. We report the case of a 49-year-old patient with a large recurrence of EAML of the left kidney. According to the literature, this is the first case of a malignant EAML with local recurrence in Germany.
