Zusammenfassung

Die Diskussion über den Stellenwert der Versorgungsforschung und der elektronischen Vernetzung in der Urologie hat mit dem Thema „Uro-Cloud“ wieder Fahrt aufgenommen. Das ist gut so, zeigt es doch, dass eine grundsätzliche Konzeption noch fehlt. Der IQUO (Interessenverband zur Qualitätssicherung der Arbeit niedergelassener Uro-Onkologen) hat frühzeitig die Notwendigkeit der standardisierten Erhebung von Versorgungsdaten der Versorgung uroonkologischer Patienten in der täglichen Praxis erkannt. Ziel ist, die Standards im Bereich der Urologie anzupassen und umzusetzen.

Abstract

The discussion on the importance of healthcare research and electronic networks in urology has taken off again with the topic “uro-cloud”. This is a good thing but shows that a basic conception is still missing. The Interessenverband zur Qualitätssicherung der Arbeit niedergelassener Uro-Onkologen (IQUO, Association of Interested Parties on Quality Assurance in the Work of Uro-oncology Practitioners) has prematurely recognized the necessity of a standardized collation of healthcare data on the treatment of uro-oncological patients in the daily routine practice. The aim is to adapt and implement the standards in the field of urology.
