Zusammenfassung

Seit der Einführung des G-DRG-Systems werden auf der Basis des Datensatzes, den die Kalkulationshäuser dem InEK (Institut für Entgelt-Systeme im Krankenhaus) jährlich zur Verfügung stellen, die DRG jedes Jahr neu kalkuliert. Ziel ist es, jeweils möglichst kostenhomogene Gruppen von Fällen zu bilden und diese gerecht zu vergüten. Die DRG können dabei jeweils nur so gut und homogen sein, wie die gelieferten Daten. Es muss daher das höchste Bestreben der Kalkulationshäuser sein, einen möglichst perfekten Datensatz zu liefern.

Abstract

Since the G-DRG system was established for remuneration of inpatient treatment, hospitals may offer the cost data of their cases as a database for the calculation of new DRGs. Therefore, the DRGs will be only as good as the cost data offered. These hospitals must be interested in offering perfect data, since this is the only option to optimize the DRG system.
