Zusammenfassung
Schwannome gehen von den Schwann-Zellen der Nervenscheiden aus. Sie können potenziell im gesamten Körper auftreten und existieren in benigner und maligner Variante. Eine renale Lokalisation ist extrem selten. Bildgebende Verfahren sind nicht in der Lage, diese ungewöhnliche Tumorentität sicher vom Nierenzellkarzinom abzugrenzen. Die Therapie besteht in einer kompletten Resektion des Tumors. Eine wirksame konservative Therapie ist nicht bekannt. Histologisch zeigt sich ein mesenchymaler, spindelzelliger, verkapselter Tumor mit stark positiver Reaktion auf das S-100-Protein. Epitheliale Marker finden sich nicht.
Abstract
Neurilemomas originate from the Schwann cells of nerve sheaths. They can occur ubiquitously as benign or malign variants. Renal neurilemomas are extremely rare. Imaging does not allow a certain diagnosis. Complete tumor resectioning is the only curative therapy. Effective conservative treatment is not known. Histological criteria of renal neurilemoma are: mesenchymal, spindle cell, capsulated tumor intensely positive to S-100 antiserum. Epithelial markers do not react.
