Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Fallbericht präsentiert die überraschende Diagnose eines Schwannoms im menschlichen Hoden. Gleichzeitig handelt es sich dabei um die seltene histologische Variante eines plexiformen Schwannoms. Diese Variante des Schwannoms imitiert wegen ihres multinodulären Wachstumsmusters das plexiforme Neurofibrom und wird ebenfalls zu den gutartigen Tumoren der Nervenscheiden gezählt.

Abstract

In this report we describe the case of a testicular schwannoma in a human. Histologically, the tumor presented as a plexiform schwannoma. This rare benign peripheral nerve sheath tumor is an uncommon nodular variant of schwannoma, which mimics plexiform neurofibroma by its multinodular growth.
