Zusammenfassung
Das alkoholbedingte Korsakow-Syndrom (Wernicke-Korsakow-Syndrom) gilt als schwer behandelbare, meistens persistierende Alkoholfolgekrankheit nach langjährigem, schwerem Alkoholabusus. Anhand zweier Falldarstellungen werden günstige Behandlungsergebnisse unter der kombinierten Gabe von Clonidin und Fluvoxamin berichtet.
Summary
Korsakoff's psychosis (Wernicke-Korsakoff-Syndrome) following severe, long-term alcoholism is considered to be widely resistent to treatment. We report two cases with beneficial effects of treatment by a combination of clonidine and fluvoxamine.
