Zusammenfassung

Bei der primären Versorgung von Augenbrauenverletzungen sollte die Erhaltung der Augenbraue unter allen Umständen angestrebt und daher selbst bei stark traumatisierten Wunden nur ein minimales Débridement vorgenommen werden. Der Verlust oder Teilverlust einer Augenbraue stellt eine anspruchsvolle Herausforderung für den rekonstruktiven Chirurgen dar. Die Wahl der Operationsmethode hängt davon ab, welchen Teil der Augenbraue man wiederherstellen möchte. Vorgestellt wird eine Klassifikation traumatischer Augenbrauendefekte, welche sich nach Art und Ausmaß des vorhandenen Defekts orientiert. Unterschiedliche Behandlungsstrategien werden anhand von Falldarstellungen diskutiert.

Abstract

The aim of primary treatment for eyebrow injuries should be preservation of the original eyebrow under any circumstances. Debridement should be kept to a minimum even when the wound is severe. The treatment of total or partial loss of an eyebrow concerning the exact reconstruction of details and aesthetic aspects is a challenge for the surgeon. The therapy option depends on the type of eyebrow selected for reconstruction. We present a classification for eyebrow injuries, which considers type and size of defects. Based on this, different techniques and methods of reconstruction are recommended. Advantages and disadvantages are discussed and illustrated by several examples.
