Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über eine Jugendliche mit aplastischer Anämie, die unter Cefotaxim einen enzephalopathischen Zustand entwickelte, welcher ätiologisch nicht anderweitig zu erklären war und sich nach Absetzen der Medikation zurückbildete.

Abstract

We report about an adolescent girl with aplastic anaemia who developed an otherwise unexplained encephalopathy while receiving cefotaxim. The situation was completely reversible on stopping the medication.
