Besonderer Dank gilt unserem ehemaligen Leiter der Neonatologie, Herrn Prof. Dr. med. Karl Bauer, der stets mit großem Engagement, analytischem Scharfsinn und sprachlicher Gewandtheit an der Entstehung von Publikationen beteiligt war. Viel zu früh, am 14.07.2007, im Alter von nur 48 Jahren, erlag er einer mit Fassung und großer Hoffnung in die Medizin ertragenen, bösartigen Erkrankung.
