Zusammenfassung

Mittelohrentzündungen kommen in jeder Kinderarzt- und HNO-Praxis v. a. im Winter sehr häufig vor. Die übliche Behandlung in der Pädiatrie mit Antibiotika ist nach dem derzeitigen Wissensstand nicht evidenzbasiert. Viele Eltern wünschen sie auch aus verschiedensten Gründen nicht. In dieser Situation bietet die Homöopathie eine attraktive Alternative. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird aufgezeigt, wie mit Hilfe von Homöopathika eine kindliche Mittelohrentzündung schnell und angenehm (cito et iucunde) behandelt werden kann. Zur Anwendung kommen hauptsächlich Aconit, Pulsatilla, Dulcamara, Capsicum, Ferrum phosphoricum, Apis mellifica, Chamomilla, Lycopodium, Lachesis, Silicea, Tellur, Thuja, Nux vomica, Okoubaka, Tuberculinum, Calcium carbonicum, Acidum nitricum, Kreosotum, Kalium muriaticum und Mater perlarum. In dem Beitrag werden differenziert die Anwendung der einzelnen homöopathischen Mittel erläutert und Anregungen für die Selbsttherapie durch die Eltern gegeben. Komplikationen sind extrem selten.

Abstract

Middle ear infections are commonly seen in pediatric and otorhinolaryngological practice, especially in winter. According to what is known at present, the antibiotic treatment usually prescribed for children with middle ear infections is not evidence based. In addition, many parents do not wish their children to receive such treatment, for various reasons. An alternative is available in the form of homoeopathic treatment. This paper explains how a child’s middle ear infection can be quickly treated with homeopathic drugs that are not at all unpleasant in use. Those mostly used for this purpose are preparations of aconite, pulsatilla, dulcamara, capsicum, ferrum phosphoricum, apis mellifica, chamomile, lycopodium, lachesis, silicea, tellurium, thuja, nux vomica, okoubaka, tuberculinum, calcium carbonicum, nitric acid, creosote, potassium salt and mater perlarum. This paper describes the use of these individual homeopathic remedies in some detail and gives hints to help parents treat their children themselves with the alternative homeopathic remedies available. Complications are very rare.
