Zusammenfassung

Die zystische Adventitiadegeneration ist eine sehr seltene Ursache der Claudicatio intermittens. Insbesondere bei Männern im jüngeren bis mittleren Lebensalter ohne sonstige Zeichen einer Arteriosklerose sollte man an diese Erkrankung denken. Als Therapie der Wahl ist die operative Resektion mit Veneninterponat anzusehen. Bei dem sehr typischen sonograpischen und angiographischen Bild benötigt man präoperativ keine weitere Diagnostik.
