Abstract

In imaging techniques was seen a thickness of the gastric wall in a patient with pain for several months and loss of weight. Biopsies taken out of the tumor mass by gastroscopy and laparoscopy have not been groundbreaking. For this disease pattern is it not unusual that the diagnosis of heterotopic pancreatic tissue with pancreatitis is not confirmed until a resection of the stomach.
