Akute und chronische Leukämien werden in Deutschland weitgehend im Rahmen von Therapiestudien behandelt, da es keine allgemein anerkannten Standardtherapien gibt. Vollständige Informationen über laufende Studien sind daher eine wichtige Voraussetzung für die “State of the art”-Therapie von Leukämiepatienten. Das Projekt “Informationszentrum” im Kompetenznetz für akute und chronische Leukämien hat sich die Verbesserung der Informationsstandards auf diesem Gebiet zum Ziel gemacht.
