Im Rahmen der Fortbildungsveranstaltung “Aktuelle Kardiologie”, die alle 2 Jahre stattfindet, werden die neuesten wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse und Ergebnisse großer nationaler und internationaler Studien aus dem gesamten Gebiet der kardiovaskulären Diagnostik und Therapie vorgestellt und diskutiert. Zentrale Themen des diesjährigen Kongresses waren:

Brachytherapie: Pro und Contra,

Therapie des frischen Myokardinfarktes,

Antikoagulation bei Vorhofflimmern,

Aortendissektion: Stent vs. Operation,

Stellenwert der Nuklearkardiologie,

Paroxysmales Vorhofflimmern: Ablation vs. präventive Stimulation.
