Zusammenfassung

Die Ursachen für Stimmlippenlähmungen sind sehr vielfältig und stellen in der Differentialdiagnostik an den Untersucher hohe Anforderungen.

Angiokardiopathien zählen zu den seltenen Ätiopathologien. Im vorliegenden Fallbericht wird ein offener Ductus arteriosus Botalli als Ursache für die Lähmung des linken N. recurrens bei einer 59-jährigen Patientin dargestellt.

Es wird auf die dringende Notwendigkeit einer über das HNO-Fachgebiet hinausgehenden, interdisziplinären Diagnostik bei einer Parese des N. recurrens hingewiesen.

Abstract

There are various reasons for paralysis of the vocal folds, which consequently imposes great demands on differential diagnostics.

Angiocardiopathies are regarded as very rare cases of etiopathogenesis. In the present case, a persistent arterial duct could be identified as the reason for the paralysis of the left recurrent nerve of a 59-year-old female patient.

The necessity of interdisciplinary diagnostics going beyond the field of otorhinolaryngology is emphasized, especially in cases of a paralysis of the recurrent nerve.
