In diese Richtung zielt auch der jüngst im European Archives of Otolaryngology erschienene Artikel “MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING OF THE INNER EAR IN PATIENTS WITH IDIOPATHIC SENSORINEURAL HEARING LOSS” von R.J. Stokross und Mitarbeitern [8]. Ein Kommentar erscheint uns hier- notwendig, damit die Kernspintomographie in der Diagnostik des Hörsturzes nicht unkritisch zur routinemäßigen Pflichtübung wird und potentielle Risiken verkannt werden.
