Zusammenfassung

Granulomatöse Hautveränderungen nach einer Herpes-zoster-Erkrankung sind selten und ihre Pathogenese ist unklar. Anhand eines immunsupprimierten Patienten mit postherpetischen Granulomen und Nachweis von Varizella-zoster-Virus-DNA im Granulomgewebe werden neuere pathogenetische Vorstellungen zur Entstehung dieser Hautveränderungen besprochen.

Abstract

Granulomatous skin changes following herpes zoster are uncommon and their pathogenesis is unclear. We demonstrated varicella-zoster virus in the granuloma tissue of an immunocompromised patient with post-herpetic granulomas and use this finding as basis for discussing the pathogenesis of these lesions.
