Zusammenfassung.

Anhand von 2 Kasuistiken werden die plaqueförmige Variante des Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (PDFSP) und die großflächige Form der plaqueförmigen dermalen Fibromatose (PDF) (synonym: Dermatomyofibrom) einander gegenübergestellt. Es handelt sich um zwei klinisch sehr ähnliche großflächige Indurationen der Haut, deren Unterscheidung wegen unterschiedlicher Therapie und Prognose von Bedeutung ist. Histologisch und immunhistochemisch lassen sich PDFSP und PDF gut gegeneinander abgrenzen.

Summary.

On the basis of two cases the differences between the plaque-like variant of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (PDFSP) and the plaque-like dermal fibromatosis (synonym: dermatomyofibroma; PDF) are presented. PDFSP and PDF are two clinically very similar dermal fibrous proliferations, but differentiation is important because of their different therapy and prognosis. Histologically and immunohistochemically PDFSP and PDF can be recognized as separate entities.
