Zusammenfassung

Die gesundheitsbezogene Lebensqualität („health-related quality of life“ [HRQoL]) ist der bedeutendste patientenberichtete Endpunkt in klinischen Studien und wird zunehmend auch in der Routineversorgung eingesetzt. Auch als Zielgröße in Behandlungsleitlinien und als Ergebnisindikator für die Evaluation der Versorgungsqualität findet HRQoL Berücksichtigung. Zur Erfassung der HRQoL aus der Perspektive der Patientinnen und Patienten stehen zahlreiche validierte Fragebögen für verschiedene dermatologische Erkrankungen zur Verfügung. Diese weisen teilweise jedoch eine nur unzureichende Messgüte auf, was die Notwendigkeit weiterer Forschung in der Entwicklung qualitativ hochwertiger Messinstrumente unterstreicht. Großes Potenzial liegt in der Implementierung der elektronischen Erfassung von HRQoL in der Routineversorgung.

Abstract

Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is the most important patient-reported outcome in clinical trials and patient care. HRQoL is further considered as target variable in treatment guidelines and as outcome indicator in the evaluation of the quality of care. Numerous validated questionnaires are available for the assessment of HRQoL from the perspective of patients with skin diseases. However, many are of inadequate methodological quality, indicating the need for further research in the development of high-quality measurement instruments. The implementation of routine electronic HRQoL assessments is a promising approach.
