Zusammenfassung

Haut der Fitzpatrick-Typen IV–VI verfügt über eine von der hellen Haut in manchen Aspekten abweichende Physiologie und Pathophysiologie. Dies bringt spezifische Reaktionsmuster und damit besondere Anforderungen hinsichtlich Diagnostik und Therapie mit sich. Bei allen medizinischen Interventionen müssen das Risiko von Farbverschiebungen sowie die Neigung zur Bildung von hypertrophen Narben und Keloiden bedacht werden. Darüber hinaus sind kulturgebundene Eigenheiten, wie z. B. der Wunsch nach heller Haut oder glattem Haar, zu berücksichtigen.

Abstract

Skin of Fitzpatrick types IV–VI has a physiology and pathophysiology that is different from lighter skin in some aspects. This entails specific reaction patterns and thus special requirements with regard to diagnostics and therapy. In all medical interventions, the risk of color shifts and the tendency to form hypertrophic scars and keloids should be considered. In addition, culture-related characteristics such as the desire for lighter skin or straight hair must be taken into account.
