Zusammenfassung

Bei einer 68-jährigen Patientin zeigten sich bei Erstvorstellung gruppiert angeordnete Bläschen an der linken Gesichthälfte. Darüber hinaus bestanden unilateral ein eingeschränkter Lidschluss, reduzierte Mimik und Hörminderung. Gruppierte Vesikel ließen sich auch im linken äußeren Gehörgang nachweisen. Unter der Diagnose eines Ramsay-Hunt-Syndroms wurden daher Aciclovir, Prednisolon und Pentoxifillin i.v. verabreicht. Im Verlauf weniger Wochen erfolgte eine vollständige Rückbildung der Symptome einschließlich der neurologischen Defizite.

Abstract

A 68-year-old woman presented with unilateral herpetiform skin lesions of the face. She also showed reduced eye lid and mimic function as well as hearing loss. In addition grouped vesicles were seen in the outer ear canal. We diagnosed Ramsay Hunt syndrome and administered intravenous acyclovir, prednisolone and pentoxifylline. Within a few weeks, there was complete remission including the neurological symptoms.
